We Are Looking for Casters and Tournament Staff
With the updates and planned content coming to the Fault Hub Network, tournaments was one thing on that list that we knew we would need additional help with. Having ran multiple tournaments in the past, there is no question that it takes a lot of hard work, organization and dedication. We are writing this post today to reach out to the community to see who would like to be a part of this growing team to provide Fault fans a professional competitive platform. 100's of players around the world would compete in Paragon's PCL events and we would love to see that same energy from the player base going forward with Fault. This is a new and exciting journey for us all but we need your help to pull it off. Here are some roles we need to start forming our tournament division:
We need 4 casters in total. 2 for EU and 2 for NA. If a casters availability allows, they will be able to cover both regions if they want to. We are looking for high energy, enthusiastic commentators that have a passion for the game. They must be willing to put in time and dedication to learn the Heroes and their Abilities, as well as Items, Aspects and current meta trends. Game knowledge is essential so the viewers are informed on everything going on in a match. You will be required to cast games on weekends (Saturday and Sunday evenings) for a period of 7 weeks, with week 8 being our break. Each day will be estimated to last around 3-4 hours. You will be required to be on camera, so a good quality webcam is essential. Please provide some previous work when applying.
Admins will be required to help manage the tournament Discord and it's channels, setting up the draft for each match and directly working with the casters to get ready for the stream and the matches for that day. You will be enforcing rules, updating and reporting scores on the website, making sure teams are ready and assuring the back end of the tournament is running smoothly. You will be required to work with the team on Saturdays & Sunday evenings, but may be required to help out during the week.
Moderators will be making sure the Discord is kept clean and spoiler free. This includes the Twitch channel when we are live. You will be working directly with the admins and helping out with whatever is needed. This includes things like directing the public to the right place to view matches and sign-up forms. We are also looking for additional mods for the current LFG Discord. With over 300 members joining for the last Fault Alpha Weekend, we can only assume that it will grow tenfold come Early Access.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Our social media manager will be in charge of updating social feeds with match scores and tournament updates. Must be available during tournament hours (Saturday / Sunday evenings). No design experience needed but must be able to edit PSD's efficiently without help and work directly with our designer.
